Saturday night was very eventful to say the least....before getting to the track I had had a feeling the night might be a little crazy seeing our division had not been on the track in almost a month....

I started the day by drawing the pole...I elected to start from the rear as I had been having a fuel issue earlier in the day. Once it was race time we got a good start...I stayed on the lead lap for the first 9 laps which is the best I have ever done at the time I got lapped I was also in the process of making a pass. Coming out of turn 2 as I was about to have the pass completed I got knocked hard in the Right Rear quarter panel....That spun me right around where I rode the backstretch wall and the trunk got sheered off once I came to a stop the car stalled aand I was in the middle of tracks. A couples cars missed me but "goofy" Dave Wheeler was unable to miss me he got on the brakes but still got a very hard shot on my Drivers side door. The red flag was thrown after, track official Kevin Askwith ran over to make sure I was okay I said ya let me see if it starts, which it did..I started to move and asked Kevin if all the wheels were fine, they were so I continued on. after that red things went fantastic...continueing to run well til Bucky Sheets blew up going into turn 3I saw it a tried to get slowed down before getting in to the fluid...I was able to back down but cars behind could not and I got slammed from behind and on the side....the red flew for a fire on Bucky's car..I turned the car back around and found that I was unable to turn left anymore....and thats where I ended..close to lap 35 DNF #1 of the 2007 season.....

Once I got home and looked at the car I found that the LF upper control arm got real bent and was rubbing on Steering shaft which is what caused me to not be able to turn left....

In the second wreck I heard a pop in my arm That has been check and been deemed I have a strained muscle in my shoulder....

Bruce Clark unofficially finished 7th in his 4cyl event also on Saturday night....

I would like to say godspeed to a great leader in the build of Nascar. Bill France Jr. Passed away earlier today

The team will know in a week or so whether the season is over or not for RBT Motorsports.....til later Have a good one folks....
