Ok so I'm a little behind on gettin the website started for the 2008 season. So I try to catch you all up.

Our first investment of the off season was to purchase my own Truck and trailer so I wouldnt have to rely on freinds to get to the track. During the offseason I practiced with it and looked forward to the season opener.

I started 17th and the car felt nuetral all race long there was only one track issue when the 45 of rookie Chip Weston spun in turn 4 in which 92 Scott Lafortune spun to avoid the 45 and I then had to avois the 92. i made no contact and continued on to have my career best finish of 13th. Jeff Kirley won the race with S&S driver Dan Stoodley finishing second.

Race 2 I started 19th, the car started real loose but as the race went on the car developed a push. we only had one issue on track when the 45 spun outon the exit of turn 2 I had to spin also to avoid him....I contined on with an ill handling car to finish 14th. Jeff Kirley repeated and the 70 of Ryan Rivet finished second is best ever.

Last night was race 3. I started 9th. we were in a hurry up mode as rain was in the area. I had seen an official speaking to the front row starters while we were sitting in turn 4 waiting for the Late models to finish up their podium pictures. when I saw that I thought we may be doing a "semi Dead start to the race. I was right I spun the RR tire if I had not I would have hit Duane Stonier who started 7th who did not realize we were going green. I was able to stay withe the pak for a while and did not get lapped by the leader until lap 10, the most laps I have ever stayed on the lead lap. Lap 15 Joe Either and Mike Petalas got into a wreck right behind me exiting turn 2 I heard the wreck and thought we would ahve a red Flag and we did when Scott Lafortune hit the A5 still sitting on the track. All Drivers were ok and we continued on after a little beating with the 52 and 29 of Wesley Johnson things settled down. Dan Stoodley took the victory with the Kirley right behind him. I got my best career finish and first ever top 10 with a 9th place finish.

I want to thank Bruce, Patty, and Jennifer Clark. also Kenny Mills Wally Clark. Eric Pomansko, Dan Stoodley, Jason Spaulding, and Duane Stonier for the help of the best start to a season for me to date.

Next week the 4's run we will be back on the track in 2 weeks May 31st. Til then have a good one.
